Agricultural machinery specialist Conagri will debut its eye catching pink and black “Captain Tractors” at the Devon County Show 2025, offering visitors a chance to enter a raffle to win a bespoke tractor while raising funds for breast and prostate cancer charities.
Held at Westpoint Arena, Exeter, from May 15–17, Devon County Show is the South West’s leading agricultural event. Alongside livestock competitions, craft stalls, live music, and the new Alpaca Café, Conagri’s stand (No. 247) will feature two fully wrapped compact tractors: one in pink supporting the Pink Ribbon Foundation, and one in black backing Prostate Cancer UK.
For a £10 donation, show-goers can enter a national raffle to win one of these unique Captain Tractors (valued at £10,000). Participants can sit in the driver’s seat and pose for photos before deciding whether they’d prefer pink or black. The winning tickets will be drawn in October by TV presenter and breast cancer survivor Julia Bradbury, whose own father is a prostate cancer survivor.
Conagri director Andrew Venton explained the dual charity concept:
“We wanted our launch tour of Captain Tractors in the UK to do more than showcase the brand. Partnering with these two fantastic charities gives our events real purpose.”
The Devon County Show draws around 80,000 visitors to its 150 acre site each year, featuring over 1,000 trade stands, competition rings for cattle, sheep, and horses, plus family attractions from archery to vintage tractors. Free parking and easy access from the M5 make it a regional highlight.
Lisa Allen of the Pink Ribbon Foundation praised the initiative’s “fun and unique approach” to fundraising, while Seren Evans of Prostate Cancer UK noted that prostate cancer affects one in eight men and thanked Conagri for “going the extra mile” to support lifesaving research.
