Contact UsThe Pink Ribbon Duck Race is a fun, family-friendly fundraising event organised by the Pink Ribbon Foundation, bringing together communities, businesses and supporters from across the UK to help make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
The Pink Ribbon Duck Race builds on the remarkable success of the Cambridge duck race held in 2025, which saw 5,000 ducks take to the River Cam and captured the imagination of participants, spectators and supporters alike. The event generated extensive media coverage across television, radio, print and online platforms, reaching millions of people while raising vital funds and awareness for those affected by breast cancer.
Following that success, the Pink Ribbon Foundation is proud to launch a fully rebranded, charity-owned event for 2027. Created to secure the long-term future of the race and maximise its charitable impact, the Pink Ribbon Duck Race will see 100% of profits supporting the Foundation's work funding breast cancer charities and projects across the UK.
Every duck adopted helps fund the Foundation's work and contributes towards grants, awareness initiatives and projects that support those affected by breast cancer. Whether you adopt a single duck, a family of ducks or an entire flock, you'll be helping to create a memorable community event while making a real difference to lives across the UK.
So, adopt your ducks, cheer them on, and join us as thousands of little ducks come together to create one big impact.
At the Pink Ribbon Foundation, we believe that great events should leave a lasting impact on people - not on the environment.
Working alongside our event partner, SKO Event Operations...
We are committed to:
Every duck returns to the flock.
Every piece of equipment comes ashore.
Every effort is made to leave the river exactly as we found it.
Our Environmental Promise - to the river, our community and our ducks.
Throughout the summer and beyond, the Pink Ribbon Foundation team will be attending a variety of events in and around Cambridge, as well as across the UK, to promote the Pink Ribbon Duck Race and raise awareness of the Foundation's work.
Joining us on our travels will be our brand-new Mama Duck, the largest member of the flock and a favourite with visitors of all ages!
