The Pink Ribbon Foundation is delighted to announce the successful completion of the Wales arm of the BOLD project, with 15 incredible women photographed over two emotional and inspiring days in Cardiff.

Working alongside photographer Caroline Sikkenk, the project brought together women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond, each with their own unique experience of breast cancer. Their participation serves as a powerful reminder that breast cancer can affect women of all ages and highlights the importance of awareness, early detection and support.

The photoshoots took place at voco St David's Cardiff, whose generous support helped make the project possible. Throughout the two days, stories of strength, resilience, vulnerability and hope were shared, creating a truly special atmosphere both in front of and behind the camera.

The Foundation cannot wait to begin sharing the powerful portraits captured during the shoot and looks forward to returning to Wales in the future to exhibit the photographs alongside those already created through the BOLD projects in England and Scotland.

Together, these portraits will continue to celebrate the beauty, courage and individuality of women affected by breast cancer across the UK.
