Lisa Allen from the Pink Ribbon Foundation enjoyed her first visit to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year with friend and interior designer Jo Love, experiencing one of the world's most celebrated horticultural events.
From the stunning show gardens and spectacular floral displays to the innovative ideas and inspiring brands exhibiting throughout the showground, the event offered a fascinating insight into the creativity and craftsmanship that make Chelsea such a renowned annual occasion.
The visit was made even more special thanks to the guidance of award-winning garden designer Nilufer Danis, who shared her expertise and knowledge of many of the featured gardens, providing a deeper understanding of the stories, inspiration and design principles behind them.
Among the highlights were the imaginative balcony gardens, which demonstrated how beautiful and practical outdoor spaces can be created regardless of size. The vibrant Lovehoney Garden also proved a particular favourite, bringing a sense of fun, colour and joy to the show.
The Foundation team was also delighted to meet Andy Jasper and members of the team behind the Eden Project Garden, designed by Harry Holding Studio and Michaelis Boyd. Visitors learned more about the exciting Eden Project Morecambe development while enjoying a musical performance by Chloe Jane Hirst.
Adding to an already memorable day were unexpected encounters with Pink Ribbon supporters Kara Smith and singer Beverley Knight.
The visit provided plenty of inspiration and a newfound appreciation for why so many visitors return to the Chelsea Flower Show year after year. The Pink Ribbon Foundation team is already looking forward to returning in the future.
